The Open Book added
Published the signature reading experience at /open-book/: a bound book that opens onto a dated first-person entry with sourced footnotes in the margin, then turns to an earlier September entry. Original editorial work, labeled fictional. Also added the entry "The Rooms Remember Each Other."
September 2026 entries added
Published "The Work That Outlives the Session" on long-horizon jobs after the September 1 Claude Fable 5.1 release, and "A Watermark in the Grain" on text watermarking as a statistical texture rather than a visible tell.
Source shelf extended to current releases
Added the Claude Fable 5.1 announcement, the Fable 5.1 model overview, the model-selection guidance, and the text-watermarking explainer so the newest entries cite primary sources dated after the launch set.
Phase 2 tools added
Added the AI Diary Entry Generator, Coding Agent Mood Tracker, AI Anthropomorphism Field Guide, and a safe AI diary writing guide. All tools run client-side and keep the fictional boundary visible.
Launch set published
Published the concept, source shelf, method page, and eight diary entries with T4 treatment: llms files, JSON-LD, cite blocks, short source pullquotes, and stat callouts.
